The Celebration of Craftswomen

The Celebration of Craftswomen benefits The Women’s Building, the first women-owned community center in the U.S. Funds raised support the work of this multi-cultural community center where women and girls achieve self-sufficiency and pursue their dreams. What: The 37th Annual Celebration of Craftswomen features over 150-juried artists. This show is a unique opportunity to find gorgeous, one-of-a-kind holiday gifts, fine crafts, and contemporary art. When: November 27, 28 & 29th, 2015 // 10am to 5pm each day Where: Herbst Pavilion at Fort Mason Center, San Francisco. (see map) Tickets: $10.00 for adults. $8.00 for seniors and students. Free for children under 12. Contact: Celebration of Craftswomen at 415-350-3729 or craftswomen@gmail.com How do I get there: Fort Mason is situated along the north waterfront of the San Francisco Bay. Because of the beautiful setting, we encourage you to walk, bike or take public transportation. The entrance for Fort Mason is located at the intersection of Marina Blvd and Buchannan Street, in Marina District. Click here for directions. From the entrance you will have to make your way through the Fort Mason complex to the middle pier, Herbst Pavilion. Public Transportation: Muni bus lines 49, 47, 28, 30 & 33 (muni map) Parking: Paid lot at Fort Mason (see map) Pets: Please respect our artists' work and leave your pets at home. Payments: Some booths will be cash only, but most will take either checks or debit/credit cards. Each vendor manages their own sales and conducts business transactions based on however they are individually equipped to do so. ATMs: There is one ATM available in the Herbst Pavilion, and another available in Fort Mason’s ‘B’ Building. Getting Involved Applying as an Artist: If you’re interested in applying as an artist, please read the application information found on our Artist Resource page. Participating Organizations: If you’re an organization interested in hosting an interactive work-shop, or setting up a not-for-profit booth we encourage you to Contact Us about having a space at the fair.
