For the first time I road the Coaster train. The COASTER commuter train provides breathtaking coastal scenery as it runs north and south through San Diego County, serving eight stations between Oceanside and downtown San Diego. It takes about an hour to travel the entire COASTER route.

The Celebration of Craftswomen benefits The Women’s Building, the first women-owned community center in the U.S. Funds raised support the work of this multi-cultural community center where women and girls achieve self-sufficiency and pursue their dreams. What: The 37th Annual Celebration of Craftswomen features over 150-juried artists. This show is a unique opportunity to find gorgeous, one-of-a-kind holiday gifts, fine crafts, and contemporary art. When: November 27, 28 & 29th, 2015 // 10am to 5pm each day Where: Herbst Pavilion at Fort Mason Center, San Francisco. (see map) Tickets: $10.00 for adults. $8.00 for seniors and students. Free for children under 12. Because of the beautiful setting, we encourage you to walk, bike or take public transportation. From the entrance you will have to make your way through the Fort Mason complex to the middle pier, Herbst Pavilion. Payments: Some booths will be cash only, but most will take either checks or debit/credit cards. West Coast Craft Winter 2015 took place on November 14th and 15th from 10am to 6pm in the Festival Pavilion at historic Fort Mason Center on the San Francisco waterfront. West Coast Craft featured 250+ of the best contemporary artist and designer craftsmen and women exhibiting handmade and manufactured products influenced the cultural and natural histories of the West Coast.
