Marketing Action Plans

The Marketing Action Plans is a 365-days-a-year resource tool. It’s not the kind of book that sits on your bookshelf at home; rather you should keep it with you at work at all times. Everything in this book is for real-world survival; individual documents, processes, procedures and full plans.

All of us have had, or will have, a boss demand a full Public Relations, Marketing and/or Online plan on his desk in less than a week. This is impossible to do from scratch; however, with the Marketing Action Plans you will able to use between 50% to 80% of each document and template included.

Simply insert your company name and products where asked. Yes, you will need some customization to fit your organization, but having a substantial part of your plan, layout and content provided will permit you to do two things: Focus on what is really important and meet your unrealistic deadlines.

Also, after decades of experience I can personally attest that having a process and check-off forms dramatically speeds up your entire department. It will synchronize everyone in or outside of your marketing department. It usually takes years to develop a complete set of fully fleshed-out procedure lists. But now you, simply by reading this book, have virtually everything you need.
Address of the showcase: http://store.womenssuite.com/MarketingActionPlans/

‘Flintstone House’ sold for $4.2 million

Want to live like Fred Flintstone? Even if you don’t live in Bedrock, circa the Stone Age, you can get pretty close to living like Fred and Wilma without venturing too far from San Francisco.

“The Flintstone House,” located in Hillsborough, Calif., am upscale suburb of San Francisco, is on the market for $4.2 million, according to San Francisco Realtor Judy Meuschke of Alain Pinel Realtors, who is listing the house.

That $4.2 million price tag on the house isn’t outrageous for the property, located just off Highway 280 in one of the wealthiest communities in America. The town has the highest income of any U.S. municipality with a population of at least 10,000. The median sales price for homes in Hillsborough from May 15 to Aug. 15 was $3.55 million, according to Trulia.

The kitchen was designed by architect Eugene Tsui, who implemented his signature “biologic” design with lighted niches and appliance enclosures, glass countertops encased with diagonal metal spines, swinging wood cutout doors, drawers, and cabinets. The door was created by famed Burning Man artist, Dan Das Mann, and the living room was built with a sunk-in conversation pit with circular seating. The home overlooks the Crystal Springs Reservoir.

Want a tour of the house? You’re probably out of luck. The house is being shown by appointment only. But you can check out the pictures below:

Binoculars Building - Venice neighborhood of LA, CA

Binoculars Building

The Binoculars Building, originally the Chiat/Day Building, is a commercial office building located in the Venice neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. Built between 1985-1991 for advertising agency Chiat/Day (now TBWA\Chiat\Day) as its West Coast corporate headquarters, it was designed by Los Angeles architect Frank Gehry, his last project in Los Angeles until the Walt Disney Concert Hall began construction in 1999.

The building is notable for the three different styles used in the main facade on Main Street, particularly the massive sculpture of binoculars that function as both a car and pedestrian entrance. The binoculars were designed by Claes Oldenburg and Coosje van Bruggen. The entrance to the parking garage is between the lenses of the binoculars. The 75,000-square-foot (7,000 m2) building was delayed for a few years after hazardous materials were found on the building site, requiring removal. TBWA\Chiat\Day is no longer a tenant in the building, having moved to another area of Los Angeles known as Mar Vista. The last tenant of this building was Ketchum Inc., a public relations group.[citation needed]

In January 2011, W. P. Carey & Co. announced Google was leasing 100,000 square feet (9,300 m2) of space in the building and two neighboring buildings, part of a major expansion to establish a larger employment presence in Los Angeles.

Creative Displays - a.k.a.: The Amertec Building

The Amertec Building (Hialeah, FL)

Some say the Amertec building resembles a sleeping monster, built in 1967 by architect Chayo Frank, the building was designed and built for his family’s woodworking business.

http://designbuildteam.com/architectbuilder/beautifully-bizarre-architecture/

In 1967, architect Chayo Frank was tasked with designing an office building for his father’s architectural woodworking and store fixture manufacturing business, Amertec-Granada Inc. With the use of sprayed concrete construction, he was able to have his design plan realized which involved a combination free-form aesthetics; parts of the building were completely free-form such as the water flumes on the exterior while curved rebars were used to form the large geometric shapes.

Chayo Frank had a love for nature and while the building was being painted, he began developing an idea. He wanted his design to transcend architecture as a building and become what he called, an “organic entity” which involved a combination of all aspects of design to resemble an object of nature. To achieve this, he used metallic paints that enabled sunlight to reflect off the textures on the exterior of the building, giving it a more life-like quality to it.

His father’s business operated until it was sold in 2002. Sometime in the years prior, the building was painted white. Today the building and the connecting warehouses are owned by a produce company and is used as storage.
Address of the showcase:
