This statue is called "Emptiness" and was created by a grieving parent. It is a great attempt at describing how a parent feels after losing a child.

BLUE TREES: Some of King Plaza's, outside Palo Alto City Hall magnolia trees are currently blue thanks to a new public-art project. The trees were colored with an environmentally-safe blue paint with the aim of raising awareness of global deforestation.
