- Morgan Rees posted to the statusThe Santa Cruz / Loma Prieta fires are about 25 minutes from my house. We know people that live down that way and pray for them and for their belongings/pets. In the last photo you know things are bad when even the rats are leaving. To compound matters we have had a heatwave with temperatures as high as 100-degress (for three days) and the poor Firefighters also have to wear long pants, long sleeves, jackets, boots and helmets as they fight the fires.

It forces me to get away from the computer and exercise. It is a cordless electric dual battery design, no pollution, quite, instant start and fun.
