This is the last time The Beatles were photographed together as a band.
The last photo shoot of all four Beatles together happened at John and Yoko’s newly bought house in Tittenhurst Park, Berkshire. The date was August 22, 1969.
The foursome had just completed work on I Want You (She’s So Heavy) and some of the shots show our lads looking rather spent. There were three photographers at work: Monte Fresco, Ethan Russell and the Beatles’ eternally faithful man-on-the-spot, Mal Evans. A bit of movie footage was also shot on the same day. The video was supposed to have been for a BBC Two arts programme on September 19, 1969, promoting the Abbey Road album.

Writing Quote
Writing is more than a vehicle for communicating ideas. It's a tool for crystallizing ideas.
Writing exposes gaps in your knowledge and logic. It pushes you to articulate assumptions and consider counterarguments.
One of the best paths to sharper thinking is frequent writing.

Testing ‘Rubber Soul’ pressings like . . . Vinyl disc manufacturing was (and still is) a non-exact science. The physics of the medium demand close inspection and random statistical sampling at all stages of production. In the end however, it is well worth it. The Beatles recorded their sixth album, Rubber Soul which took the group in a new direction. Rubber Soul was recorded 56 years ago.
