Attended Carnegie Mellon University’s Entertainment Technology Center (ETC) to view their mid-term presentations. It is always fun visiting Electronic Arts headquarters and mingling with EA’s video game characters.

Last night I was able to reconnect to a very good friend, Danny Hertlein. His band was playing locally so I visited him at his gig. He even dedicated a couple of songs to me. We reminisced about current friends and one’s no longer with us. Danny looks great and is in top shape between his fulltime day job, playing in two bands and on weekends he does long distance bicycling up to 100-miles. After all of these years I am grateful we have reconnected.

California is experiencing a severe three-year drought, please see the attached photograph of a completely dried up creek near my house. This morning we finally had a light sprinkling of rain. Something is better than nothing.
The Walt Disney Family Museum presents: “MAGIC, COLOR, FLAIR: the world of Mary Blair”
I had the good fortune and honor to meet Mary Blair at her house. Mary Blair was very hands-on with the conceptualization of the Disney's Contemporary hotel, Monorail design, Alice in Wonderland, Peter Pan, Cinderella and the originator of “It’s a Small World” exhibit.
This Sunday, September 7, 2014 will be the final exhibit show day, so you better hurry.

Had a great time attending the Millbrae Art and Wine Festival. It featured two sunny days of live music on stage and street, 250 professional artists and craftmakers showing their latest handcrafted wares, festive food and drinks
There was also a "Classically Cool Car Show".
Another band I enjoyed playing with in Miami, Florida was the Warlocks. We played together for a long time at the Flying Machine in Fort Liquordale. On drums was Tony Robledo (Drummer/trumpet/voical) extraordinaire, Victor Cuqui Berrios (Keyboard/sax/vocal), Dennis Sierra (Guitar/Vocal), Henry (Lead vocal/percussion) and Morgan Rees (Bass). Our Manager was William, a very nice and supportive man. If anyone has any photos, business cards, etc. of the Warlocks please email them to me.
