NATIONAL DOG DAY
National Dog Day is observed annually on August 26th. This day encourages dog ownership of all breeds, mixed and pure, and embraces the opportunity for all dogs to live a happy, safe and abuse-free life. Dogs give us companionship, they keep us safe and they aid those in need. It is a goal, for many on National Dog Day, to find homes for all dogs in need of a loving family. The goal of the National Dog Day foundation is to rescue 10,000 dogs each year.

Enjoyed last night’s 1920's Gatsby themed party thanks to Melody & Jack Ackerman. Indulged in an evening of Champagne tasting and merry making to the sounds of the 1920's!! This year our theme was the 1920's Gatsby dressed in flapper outfit, headbands, boas and hats/vests. Champagne, tequila, food and music were all perfect and tons of fun.
JerriAnne did a great job with her garden with beefsteak tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, bell peppers, zucchini, cucumbers all producing like a little factory.
While in Sausalito stopped at the The Spinnaker restaurant for lunch. The Spinnaker has panoramic views of the San Francisco skyline, Sausalito Waterfront, Angel Island, Belvedere, Alcatraz and the Bay Bridge. Floor to ceiling glass walls enable our guests the chance to enjoy the scenery from every angle in the dining room, built on piers directly over the water. The view is unrivaled and is the best in the San Francisco Bay Area.
